Medical need.

Preeti Maheshwari is a school teacher at the International School of Science and Technology, Shenzhen. She was suffering from a cold and respiratory problem since one week.

Since the 11th of January, she has been admitted to the emergency ward of Shekou Hospital after the doctors diagnosed her for severe pneumonia and type1 respiratory failure. Health Bureau, Public Security, China Merchants Office, and Nanshan District General Duty Office are following up with the case. Doctors have also diagnosed her for Multiple Organ Dysfunction Syndrome (MODS) and Septic Shock. Her lungs have highly inflated, and now she is on external respiratory support.  Ventilator, dialysis, and blood purification process are being conducted.

Her medication cost incurred in two days is 1,10,000 RMB, and doctors have asked for an additional 4,00,000. This amount is big in short notice. She has two young daughters and a husband as her family members.

The amount is already raised for the family, and hence we have deleted payment receiving QR code. She is suffering from “Streptococcus Virus”  and not “coronavirus.”

She is now conscious and responding well to the treatment. The people irrespective of their nationality and religion came forward to help financially and to pray for her.
