为何中国的供应商不合格？Why suppliers in China are failing?

China is a great place to import products and make good business. This phrase is phasing out speedily.  One product one city policy of Government has been yielding good growth rate in economy. Recent trend among some of the suppliers has created bad image about suppliers of China.

中国是一个进口产品和做生意的好地方。但这种情况正在开始慢慢改变。一个城市一种政府产品政策已经产生了良好的经济增长率。但最近个别供应商的一些行为已经对中国供应商留下了不好的形象。

Goods are not given as per the samples. Delaying of goods is a normal practice. Before Chinese New Year, factories tend to disappear after taking advances commonly called as deposits from the buyers.

货物不按照样品出货。延迟货物出货似乎是一种正常的行为。在农历新年之前，工厂通常会在要到购买者的定金之后突然消失。

Recently a person from Israel known to be good buyer of lights planned to shift his purchases to India from China. He gave list of reasons which are as follows :

最近有一位来自以色列的知名灯具买家，他计划从中国采购一批灯具到印度。他给出了以下一些理由：

1. Chinese suppliers do not care about giving right quality of goods. The reason being reimports in China is next to impossible.

中国供应商不会关心提供合格质量的商品。在中国几乎找不到重新进口的理由。

2. Language is a big barrier and many suppliers take undue advantage of this.

语言是一个比较大的障碍，很多供应商对此处于劣势。

3. Nowadays, suppliers blame unavailability of packing due to Environment laws and delay the goods.

如今，供应商对因为环保法律的规定引起的不合适包装及延迟送货而怨声载道。

4. After taking advance (deposit) they show inability to supply at the given price and seek to hike the prices.

他们一旦收了定金，却不愿意按照既定的价格来发货并且还想抬高价格。

         5. He gets to know problem in goods through his clients who are based in his local market. He                is compelled to reimburse the losses to save his image but suppliers in China seldom do                      that.

他通过他在当地市场的客户知道了货物出了质量问题，为了维护他的形象，他被迫偿还了客户

的损失，但中国的供应商却很少这样做。

6. There have been incidences whereby cartons filled with thermocol were sent instead of real goods.

他们曾收到过装满示温涂料而非真实货物的货箱。

7. Food habits in China are completely different and when he comes to China for buying goods, he loses weight.

当他到中国后购买食物时发现中国的饮食习惯完全不同，他为此瘦了很多。

8. In last three years, he has only lost money by importing goods from China as same supplier sells goods for cheap to other buyers from his country.

在过去的三年中，他只在通过从中国进口货物的过程中损失了资金，因为同一供应商以更便宜

的价格向其他国家的买家出售该货物。

9. Goods designed by him are being sold to others and also being copied by other manufacturers as his supplier could not take care.

10. Money is invested for long time in importing and sales in local market are on credit basis, Many times goods he bought from China turned out to be costlier than the ones available in local market.

比当地市场上的商品要贵。

This story is of a buyer. Then, so called middleman that is expats settled in China to help manufacturers sell their goods, have their side of story too.

这是一位买家的故事，同样对于定居在中国的外国中间商在帮助中国制造商销售他们的产品时也会有同样的故事。

1. Expats in China, convince people in their country to import from China and assure to help them in buying.

在中国的外国人，说服他们国家的人从中国进口商品，并保证帮助他们购买。

2. They take care of all the language problems between buyer and supplier.

他们会留意买家和卖家之间的语言问题。

3. They take care of local travel which is very scary for any foreigner visiting China, again language being a big hurdle and sign boards in English may end up taking them back to immigration.

他们会留意当地旅行，这对任何到访中国的外国人来说都非常可怕，语言再次成为一大障碍，

4. Food requirements of buyer is fulfilled by so called middlemen.

6. At times these expats also compensate buyers for bad supplies and also face defamation in their home country.

8. Suppliers, start supplying goods directly to buyers introduced by expats even when they know that the importer owes to the Expat or so called middleman.

供应商开始直接向外国人介绍的买家提供货物，即使他们知道进口商是因为外国人或所谓的中             间商介绍的。

Life of an expat in China is not easy or luxurious as what people may think. Suppliers should be respected for their efforts to give good quality supplies and at the same time Expats should be praised and paid for their efforts in promoting business of China.

外国人在中国的生活并不像人们想象的那样容易或奢侈。供应商为提供优质的货物而付出了努力，应该得到尊重。同时外国人在促进中国贸易方面做出的努力应该得到赞赏和酬劳。

Expats are bridge for business in China. Harmonious relations, with ethical supplies can bring loads of fortune for everyone. Great things can be achieved by working ethically and jointly. It takes years to nurture a relation and few seconds to demolish. Nobody will do business if he or she is not being able to earn. It’s not only that suppliers have rights of earning but at the same time, people arranging for trade and buyers also have equal rights to earn.

外国人是中国企业的桥梁。和谐的关系，遵守道德的供应可以为每个人带来大量的财富。伟大的成就可以通过道德约束和共同努力来实现。培养良好的合作关系需要花费数年精力，而破坏它则只需要几秒钟的时间。如果不能赚钱，没有人会做生意。不仅供应商有权赚取利润，同时组织贸易和协调买家的人也同样有权获得收益。
