Zhuzhou - Hunan

Zhuzhou

Zhuzhou or former Jianning is a prefecture-level city of Hunan Province in China. It is on the south-east side of Changsha and east of Jiangxi. This city has jurisdiction over five counties and four districts. It is the second-largest city of the province.

It is an important city and hub of the transport system in the eastern part of the province.

It has one of the five busiest of railway stations in the country. This city is rich in mineral and organic resources. It has one of the highest agricultural yields in the Province. The lakes, caves, waterfall and natural springs are the major tourist attractions in the city. This city is also rich in ancient heritage buildings. It has many famous stone carvings.  There are many multinational companies that have their production activities in this part of the country.

There are two universities for higher education. The GDP of this place is growing at a faster rate than the other cities in the province. Irrigation, and the service sectors, all are on the growth path.
