Jiangsu province is in the central-eastern coastal part of  China.  This is the third smallest province in the country. It is the fifth most populous Province.  This province is the most densely populated province of China. It is one of the leading provinces in the manufacturing of electronic goods and apparel items. Jiangsu is the home for leading exporters of electronic equipment, chemicals, and textiles in the world. It has also been the largest recipient of foreign direct investment since 2006 in the country. It is one of the favorite destinations for foreigners to settle.

The economy of the province.

Since ancient times it has been the economic and commercial center of the country. It is the most developed province of the country in terms of HDI (Human Development Index). Yangtze River which is the longest river of the country passes through this province.

GDP of the province is the second-highest in the country. This province is very rich in natural resources. Mining and irrigation are the backbones of this part of the country.
