Weihai

Weihai is on the northeastern seashore of Shandong. A commercial port and major fishing center. There are some light industries and is surrounded by sea on three sides. It is the easternmost prefecture-level city of the province and a major seaport and borders Yantai to the west and the Yellow Sea to the east. This city is close to South Korea and therefore, hosts a large Korean business community with a large number of Korean tourists visit this place every year. Its administrative area includes Chengshantou (eastern Shandong/Shantung Peninsula). This is a key production center for peanuts and fruits.
