Taichung

Taichung City is a special municipality located in center-western Taiwan. This City was formed on 25th December 2010, it was merged with the original provincial City. It became a significant economic and cultural hub during Japanese rule. This city is the core of the Taichung–Changhua metropolitan area. Its industrial and manufacturing base in Xitun District. The city is home to the National Museum of Natural Science and the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts.
